Our members are dedicated to the breeding, training and racing of quality homing pigeons, and to the fostering of a positive social environment  for all members and their families.  Central Nova RPC was first founded in 1995 and we are an affiliate of the Canadian Racing Pigeon  Union .  Homing pigeons have been selectively bred for many generations in an effort to raise fast, intelligent, vigorous racers who love to fly.   Racing pigeon fanciers think of their pigeons as, "Thoroughbreds of The Sky."   Just as the great thoroughbred race horse Secretariat showed little resemblance to the unique horses living on Sable Island off Nova Scotia's coast, our pigeons are very different  from common wild pigeons found world wide.
